50 appearances under one roof: online portal for Stuttgart's trade fair professionals.
How do you unite more than 50 trade fair appearances under the umbrella of an online portal of Messe Stuttgart? The +Pluswerk creatives solved this brainteaser by developing a common graphic bracket: clear, straightforward and modern. With a navigation concept that is immediately accessible to the visitor. About Messe Stuttgart
With award-winning architecture and event halls that are among the largest and most modern in Europe, Messe Stuttgart offers an ideal platform for industry giants and hidden champions - not only from the Stuttgart metropolitan region.
The area in the direct vicinity of the international airport is growing continuously and, with around 1.2 million visitors annually, so are the demands on the digital infrastructure. This must ensure that digital services and platforms are always available with high performance, even at peak times.
Messe München is meeting these growing challenges with the large-scale optimization and restructuring of central IT solutions. At the heart of this is a central marketing database that distributes and controls content as a digital content hub.
Concept & Design
As a modern supra-regional player, Messe Stuttgart is responding to the demands of digitalization. +Pluswerk takes this into account and creates a tailor-made dress for the more than 50 events of the client. Agile according to Scrum, the agency lifted the existing appearance onto a new technical platform in only 16 months. The basis is TYPO3 8.7 LTS. With intelligent caching solutions and cache warm-up, +Pluswerk meets the requirements for more performance - even with high user numbers. The result is a significant increase in speed.
But that's not all: As an expert for digital solutions, +Pluswerk accompanies the trade fair in a visionary project with R&D character that is scheduled for 4 years. The core of the initiative is the restructuring and optimization of the IT structure that has grown over the years and the realization of innovative new services. The basis for this is the MKDB marketing database, which distributes and organizes content as a "central nervous system".
